… the family business "PWA" was founded in 1979 as a retail company specializing in the distribution of machinery and equipment within Austria. In 1993, it transitioned from retail to wholesale. Just four years later, in 1997, another significant milestone was reached with the registration of the "BERNARDO" brand. In 2004, due to lack of space, the company building in Linz was expanded by 600 m2 to 2000 m2. In 2008, the new central warehouse in Engerwitzdorf was built with a storage area of 3700 m2, and the Linz site was completely renovated. In the course of this, the 1200 m2 showroom was also built at the Linz site. Due to positive business development, it became necessary to expand the central warehouse in Engerwitzdorf by another 3500 m2 in 2014.
Today, PWA, with the support of 28 employees at two locations, distributes a wide range of products in over 26 countries.
In the autumn of 2014, we expanded our central warehouse in Engerwitzdorf. With a storage area of 7200 m2 and 5700 pallet spaces, our logistics center offers ample space for our extensive product range. Due to the generous storage space, approximately 90% of our products are promptly available and can be prepared for timely dispatch within Austria and Europe.
With daily incoming and outgoing goods, the logistics center in Engerwitzdorf is a highly frequented hub. Long-standing partnerships with reliable forwarding agents enable us to deliver daily, or on agreed fixed dates, from our central warehouse in Engerwitzdorf. Whether it's individual machines directly to the end customer or complete stock orders to our sales partners, transportation is always carried out by competent transport companies at attractive conditions.
