The TiN- and nACO-coated CDS and CDL core drill bits are made of high-performance high-speed steel and are designed for professional use. The sets include the most commonly used sizes and are optionally available with a drilling depth of 25 and 50 mm (TiN-coated) or 30 mm and 50 mm (nACO-coated). The advantage of core drill bits over twist drill bits is that only a narrow ring is machined, rather than the entire drilled area. This significantly reduces the required force.
